7/9 of the series
Created for the movie Magnum Opus which is the story of an ex-marine turned artist and cryptographer. I was tasked with making his series.
I've never had to make an American flag out of meat and bones, but this was my chance.
It was disgusting...
For weeks I collected bones from every BBQ I got wind of. Boiling them, bleaching them and all the while disturbing my roommates.
As with all of the works for this series, there are a number of hidden images buried in the piece. I can't even remember where some of them are.
Getting the star field out of neck bones was probably the trickiest.
But this may be my favorite piece from the series.
