Painted the night of March 24th, 2012 for the documentary “In the Time of the Judges” by Adam Gross.

Samson...the only leader in the book of Judges whose birth was foretold by an angel and then basically led a life of selfishness and revenge. It claimed him in the end.

it could have been so much different...but no. All he wanted was revenge. That's all he got. He died with his enemies when, after being blinded, he was paraded in front of them like a trophy. He asked to be placed by the two stone pillars that supported the Philistine's arena and asked for one last gift of strength as an act of revenge. He was granted it.
