This is the moment when Judah gets caught in his own wrongdoing. Having called for the death of Tamar for playing the "prostitute," he discovers that was the woman he slept with not knowing it was her. She returned to him his staff, sash and ring that he left as a deposit for his encounter.

Howard had played Simon in Kevissimo's Stations of the Cross and returned to play play Judah. The staff was made from a dowel rod and deer antler.
