The account comes from Judges 4
”Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab. Now Ehud had made a double-edged sword about a cubit long, which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing.”
The sword used in the series was hand forged by master swordsmith Scott Roush. To depict the act, a metal profile of the sword was cut from steel and the hammer literally set on fire.
