Now it begins..as it inevitably would. Fallen into darkness, the people called out for deliverance. Eight years it took, but at that time when no leader ruled them, Othniel, son of Kenaz and Caleb's baby brother, rose to save his people.

Caleb had not just a baby brother but a daughter as well. Her name was Acsah and was his one and only...and promised in marriage to the man who would defeat the enemies of the people. And as the story goes, Aksah married Othniel, her uncle.

But what did that matter now? Her husband (and the first of the Judges) goes to war.

It was the time of the Judges and everyone did what was right in their own eyes.
