As the story goes, Abimelek, the bastard son of Gideon had taken over Israel by killing all seventy of his brothers in one day. When reports of rebellion against him came from the city of Shechem, it was reported to him. He took his army and destroyed the entire town, killing every man woman and child and salting the earth behind him.

Helmets were created from bones, deer antlers, dowel rods, leather and parts from old bicycle helmets. The video of its creation can be seen HERE
